DAVAO CITY—The 2018 Division Educators’ Congress Joint Program for the Recognition of Partner Stakeholders and Schools’ Best Practices and Stakeholders’ Forum was officiated at the Grand Regal Hotel, Lanang Davao City on December 3, 2018, with the theme, “Strengthen Partnership: Provides Greater Opportunities for our 21st Century Learners.”

The event was divided into three junctures, namely (1) Recognition of Industry Partners and Stakeholders’ Forum, (2) Recognition of 2018 Brigada Eskwela Best Implementers, and (3)  Recognition  of Best Practices of School Heads.

The Recognition of Industry Partners and Stakeholders’ Forum

During the Recognition of Industry Partners and Stakeholders’ Forum, the Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) Dr. Maria Ines C. Asuncion, CESO V, acknowledged the full participation and cooperation of all the stakeholders in the division of Davao City, in the realization of the achievements made by the division for the academic year 2018.

“The Department of   Education is also supporting the children in the Balay Pag-asa in Mintal. We have our Alternative Learning System (ALS) establishment in the area. We are also supporting the House of Hope for   learners studying under the Special Education Program. We have Modified Home Study program. We   have Distance Learning   with module-based instruction. We will also be launching the Public Safety Modules for our grade 4-12 students. We achieved this because of you,” SDS Asuncion said.

Furthermore, SDS Asuncion urged the stakeholders to continue their partnership with the Department of Education for the good welfare of the Filipino learners.

“We can still do more for our children if we continue our partnership. Please continue supporting our schools for the benefit of our Filipino children, the future generations. All your support will never go in vain because they will surely leave a mark in the hearts and minds of our learners, who will become our next generation of leaders,” SDS Asuncion said.
